Drumroll please….

30 May

I have it sized to fit just right. Hopefully. (Side note: the one arm feels a bit tight but I think it’s bc the scrap yarn has the stitches kind of scrunched together. I’m afraid to pull too hard to stretch out the scrap yarn because last night I did just that and it broke the yarn and my stitches came loose. Grr).

Now onto putting it all back on the needles and double counting to make sure I didn’t loose a stitch last night. More to come.

Ps, taking self photos of your newest work is hard with an iPad. Hahaha. But you can see the one sleeve issue I am talking about. The other one looked fine.

It looks great! I’ve knit many sweaters top-down and divided for sleeves, that tightness often does happen and yes, it’s usually because the scrap yarn is tied more tightly on one side than the other. Should work itself out no problem:-) If you’re concerned, you could always leave the body and work the sleeve instead, then you’ll know. I also sometimes do this to get away from the monotony of the st. st. body. Also, I hate sleeves so i often do it to ‘get one out of the way.’ Good luck!

Oh good idea. Yeah, I think I might do that. That’s a great tip. You’re always such a great help.
